MAISON LÉVY, éditeur d'objets d'évasion

Maison Lévy designs decoration objects inspired by original paintings.
Their collections are an invitation to escapism and wish to include art in our daily life.
Founded in 2006 by Geneviève Lévy and her daughter Nina Bonomo, the family company has grown through different artistic collaborations:
with the painter Haby Bonomo first, whose work has been the inspiration of the project, and then with  various artists as Martin Reyna
or the italian illustrator Manuele Fior.

For several years now, Nina, in charge of the artistic direction, uses her pencils to express her vision of the world and textile.
With Genevieve, it is by using their complementarity of experiences and characters, that they are always eager to take up
any challenge and renew the imagination of their collections.

The inspiration
All collections by MAISON LÉVY are based on artworks, painters and drawing artist kindly agree to share their work so they can be used as "raw material" to tell new stories.

The production: a delicate process

Once the choice of motif has been made, a digital file is created in the size of each type of declination.

For the textile collections, they are then placed on a piece of material to be reproduced in digital print.
The digital technique meets the requirements and the challenge that the reproduction of original works in plastic represents, in the expansive possibilities in terms of coloured shades and in the subtle rendering of the brush stroke and paint.

Les impressions sont découpées unes à unes

For the majority of the natural textiles that we use, such as linen, more delicacy is required in the printing process, as these textiles require additional steps of preparation, fixing and stabilisation. These phases sometimes generate divergences in the end result between two products, which is why you can see slight variations in size (about 3%) and colours which are inherent to the instability of natural material.

Once the fabric is printed, each print is cut out by hand one by one before it is made up as home linens.

French team work
Since 2006, year of MAISON LÉVY's creation, until today, the choice has been to produce 100% French products.
Our creative team is based in Paris, while our printers are near Lyon and our manufacture is in the North near Lille.

Since 2015, MAISON LÉVY has launched a range of wall papers in collaboration with NEODKO.

The collaborators are more like partners to MAISON LÉVY.

As companies labeled «entreprise du patrimoine vivant français» (Living heritage company label), the brand benefits of their «savoir faire» and experience.

All share the taste of exception and the same passion for details, to bring higher the project.
